With the poor in Lima
After the Agape celebrations for the festival of Our Lady of the Sign, Patrice Devillers came and gave a presentation of his time in Peru in a mission with Points-Coeur, a work of consolation and compassion born in the Roman Catholic Church. During 18 months, Patrice lived in a poor quarter of Lima (Barrios Altos close to the centre of town) serving the poor and the street children.
Ordination of
a
new deacon
Sunday 25th November, the Solemnity of Our Lady of the Sign, the parish of Saint-Dolay celebrated as Mgr Mael ordained to the diaconate Philippe. The new deacon is a member of the parish of Saint Nikodem, situated in northen Brittany.
Bishop Marc taught on the season of Advent, Saturday 24 November
Main topic: Light of Christ in the Darkness. Bishop Marc showed the natural link between the liturgical cycle and the cosmic cycle. After the agape, the retreatants (about 30 people), walked in a nearby forest. Then, Mgr Marc closed the retreat by paralleling the inhaling and exhaling of the prayer of the heart with the solar cycle of the year. Periodic updates.
